FigHow are you starting 2012? I remember playing with my mom’s makeup when I was little and wishing to be old enough to wear it. I would put on her eye shadow, blush and lipstick and think I looked pretty like my mom. What is an acai berry? That’s what I ask myself walking through the grocery store. You will notice just about everything you can come across has some form of acai in it. It seemed to pop up over night. It is not as famous as some of the other berries out there, but it is growing in popularity.
To answer the question “What is acai?” it’s simple. Acai berry is a round, black purple fruit, smaller than a grape and has less pulp than a grape. In Brazil they use the acai berry as a juice, or as an ice cream flavor, they also put it in there tapioca. In the states, we find it in a more common juice form. It has started to become very popular.
