It seems like every week there is a new superfood being touted by marketers and obscure media sources as the definitive answer to all of our dietary shortcomings. Many of these foods have undeniable nutritional benefits, but no food delivers complete nourishment. Before you go out and spend your valuable money one of these cure-all foods, it is important to get reliable information from an objective source.

If you are looking for acai berry information, for example, don’t garner your facts from a site that is promoting acai products. Look for independent sites that offer peer-reviewed scientific research. The most reliable sources on the internet will be from sites with the .edu or .gov suffix, which indicates an educational or governmental institution, respectively.
